Ok, I'm loosing track of all the things that are going on in Venezuela in the last few weeks. Things are going south quite quickly:
- Electricity rationing.
- Some sort of devaluation that will open yet more channels for corruption.
- RCTV was shut again.
- The universities just realized they can't control their admission process.
- Students get killed in protests and of course the government blames "sharp-shooters" sent by opposition.
- University authorities get investigated because of this.
- Laureano Marquez writes his humor piece, gets published as editorial and that is terrorism.
- Hugo Chavez calls twitter "terrorism" and chavistas try to "take over twitter" (how little do they know)
I most be missing a few things. This is just what is evident, the tip of the iceberg. What am I missing?
Did someone say bread and circus?
